Ferny Fireballs Inaugural Open Day

The Ferny Districts Cricket Club will be celebrating the re-launch of its new playing facilities this year with an Open Day on Sunday, 5th November and would like to invite the entire community to come along and join the party. The day begins at 11:00am and concludes at 4:00pm with a demonstration 20/20 match for the older players.

The day will feature free entertainment and rides for the kids, cricketing demonstrations and games for everyone to participate in.

There will be a BBQ and beer tent so parents can relax while the kids join in the many ongoing cricket games, test their skill at the bowling nets to win prizes, participate in the ongoing cricket demonstrations and fun training activities or simply enjoy themselves on the rides.

Parents and older children can try out the club's bowling machine or try their luck in the Wizard Bowling Competition for great prizes.

"This is our way of saying thank-you to the cricketing community that have supported the club over the last 29 years, and inviting everyone to come and see the great facilities that we are so proud of.", says Bill Ledger, the Club's Vice President.
